I wish to provoke you to exercise reason. with the hope of engendering reactions that may hopefully help shed more light all over. or maybe i can be of service to anyone? in any way? there IS no higher purpose....

What good book have you read lately?
well in the theme of this "blog" i've quite a few 'good' books to recommend for y'all to read..
it must let you exercise your reason.. it must not be shallow either.. it must contribute to shedding a bit more light all around.. it must feed your mind.. if it does your soul too then it is a huge plus. if it is entertaining as well.. all the better..
1.Can Man Live without God?by Ravi Zacharias
-- title notwithstanding it is not a theological book, it's more of a philosophical one in its endeavor to exercise logic/reason to arrive at its affirmations.. amazing book.. teaches you the importance of the discipline of logic.. if anything this book addresses the frustrations i have when talking to people who argue haphazardly and "knee-jerkily" ^_^. a study in thinking, and thinking well.. a book to savor.. hope you guys can hear his audio collection in the net too.. this guy's an amazing thinker
2. God Beyond Nature by a certain Robert E.D. Clarke
-- pro-science? you gotta read this.. makes you think.. which is- why i'm already biased hahaha..
also is an easy read (like "a brief history of time" by Stephen Hawking only really easier to read ^_^).. again leads you to delve deeper to the convictions you always thought you have but never really thought about deeper.Sheds a bit more light definitely. >;p Good luck! happy reading!
3. Rama series by Arthur C. Clarke &Gentry Lee
-- one of the better scifi miniepics..short and sweet but mostly sweet =).. pychologists wil have a field day in agreeing or disagreeing with assertions made in the book. damn entertaining to boot ^_^.loads of fun! not for the kneejerk reactionist again -- won't enjoy if you don't sit tight and let it unfold..reserve judgement til you finish each book..entertaining at the very least.
